The Perry DeAngelis Wikipedia Page
Thanks in very large part to the hard work done by Susan Gerbic and Jim Preston over at Guerrilla Skepticism on Wikipedia, the Wikipedia page for our dear friend and fellow Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe Rogue, Perry DeAngelis, is up. Perry’s contributions to the SGU, The New England Skeptical Society, and the skeptical movement continue to be source of inspiration and enjoyment for SGU listeners around the world. His insights, humor, and humanity are forever part of the SGU time capsule that is our archives.
As we are about to launch our 500th episode this coming Saturday, it is critical to remember that the road which started with The Connecticut Skeptical Society might never have taken course without Perry’s creative vision. Every oak tree starts as an acorn. 500 episodes of the SGU is the mighty oak which sprung from the acorn Perry helped plant in 1996. And now there is an appropriate Wikipedia page to the man who helped push the world in a more rational direction.
